Hopped around like a lil' bunny...

Yesterday was a Wednesday and it being a Ladies' Night, pZ was actually resigned to the fact that pZ was going to sulk at home, watching American Idol auditions when DarLing JuLes called me and asked if I was up for some Double D-ing!

I was happy like a lil' bunny for I had the urge to dance (What's new from pZ? *Laughs*) and so, we met up soon after and after a late dinner and doing some absolutely random stuff (pZ's not telling! :X) I had some friends who were at Phuture, and they were asking us to head over to Phuture (For the uninitiated, Phuture = the sister RnB arm of Zouk) since it was a Ladies' Night and it being free entry virtually everywhere...But I still preferred to be at "Our Playground" for it feels so much like a second home to me! =)


After drinking some special shooters for the night, where it was a concoction of yogurt drink and heavily diluted Vodka, and having my usual drinks, where Mccoy finally poured us stronger housepours! And I had a lollipop from Mccoy! Yayy to the lollipop and the strong drinks! DarLing JuLes and I danced the night away, and something highly traumatising and unusual happened, which once again, I wont be telling online, which was pretty funny in a warped way, but a lil' on the traumatic side though! *Laughs*


DJ Herman finally played our song as the last song of the night!! =) We had burnt him a CD with heaps of cheesy songs one would never hear on the dancefloors of clubs anywhere and he played Mary Poppins's "Chim Chim Cherry", which was absolutely hilarious cos Herman had promised us to play that song since the beginning of 2007 and he said last night that he would play the song from start to end so it was real funny as there were people dancing to that song! I love "Our Playground"! *Hearts*



I was still feeling a lil' traumatised and bored so I decided to head over to Phuture and look for my friends...And boy was Phuture packed to the max! So it was a lil' too crammed for my liking, cos there wasn't much space to dance and all, but boy, the music was really good!


After the lights came on at 4AM, some guy pointed in my direction and said "You...You..." and I immediately knew it was going to be one of those cheesy pick up lines or something of that sort...I merely smiled, shook my head and walked away...And some weirdo outside Zouk was telling us not to eat any "kang kong" (a local veggie) cos it has worms in it...Zouk does really still have their fair share of weirdos!


One of my friend suggested going over to my 2nd Playground, since it doesn't close until an hour later...So off we went and the funiest thing happened. My friend shouted that he was going to explore the area so he went off and didn't return for like close to an hour! My other friends were worried and went around the entire playground looking for him. We gave up after one of them said that it isn't his first time of his disappearing act tricks...


It was fun, hopping around like a little bunny from place to place...Man...! 3 clubs in one night! It did bring back memories of me hanging around Zouk when I was wayy younger in those JC (Junior College) days and how it hasn't changed, plenty of weirdos still hang around Zouk and Phuture! *Laughs*


And the irony of it all was that the cab driver chatted with me once again on my way home...It was a different cab driver and I do wonder if all cab drivers compliment every lady that hops into their cabs... I have recently been getting compliments from friends, acquaintances, and even strangers (cab drivers, waiters at food places, sales people in shops) so I guess I have to thank my good genes or the wonderful MAC foundation and what-nots that's plastered on my face! *Laughs*


And I just found out that DarLing JodY had just quitted her job a few hours ago! Im glad for her cos her boss was like a bloody tyrant from hell and she was so sleep deprived and unhappy...And another of my girLies, DarLing MingYun's official last day at KPMG would be next coming Thursday! Man! More girLies to party on at "Our Playground"! And we're al seriously keen on club hopping like lil' bunnies come every week!
