Christmas wish-list...

I haven't gotten down to thinking about it yet, cos my schedule's been so busy and wayy packed! In fact, last night was one of those days when I finally had a great night's of rest, minus the phone calls early in the morning of course!


The weather's been really weird, it rains for like 15 minutes, stops, and then returns with a vengeance after 20 minutes...! Now the brolly's become the "must have" item in my bag...On top of the jacket/shawl that Im always lugging around...

"在暴风雨过后,还是会雨过天晴。。。"

In direct translation, it would mean that the skies would be cleared after the stormy weather...In a sense, it does apply to life - that there's always a silver lining after the rain and stormy weather, or that things would always look up after the setbacks...!

I took this picture 2 days ago, when I was bored and decided to randomly set off to the beach nearby for a walk/stroll...when it began to rain, and then stopped...I snapped this just after the rain stopped, and that the sky was clearing...Notice the sun peaking out amongst the dark clouds? =)

Anyways, Mario, Bestie neRd's friend is in town, so I've to do the our guide thing and show him around...But SG is kinda boring, and Mario did study here once a long time ago, so we're gonna go for a local dinner, followed by some nightlife fun!



I have never clubbed on a Tuesday night before, but there's always a first time for everything! :P And there's some DJ from ZoukOut that'd be spinning at Zouk itself tonight, and since Mario being the exploring one, went to St James already last night, when I had intended to being him to St James, I reckon there isn't much nightlife left on a Tuesday...


Morale of the story? SG at night is kinda boring during the early days of the week! :P



And I promise a Christmas wish-list soon, although my greatest wish is for everyone to have health, wealth and smiles all year around! I've at a point in my life where I see everything material as material needs and wants, and I guess, with age (Yeah, Im getting OLD!), nothing matters more than the immaterial things that we often take for granted, and, obviously, love from family and friends that matter matters! =)

If you noticed, the eyebags were 2 shades darker than the norm; Well,its partially due to the fact that I'm sleeping with a leaking roof over my head, and the "melodic" sounds of the drips drives me insane! And I experimented with eyeliner, and I did such a bad job of it that I look as though Im a panda! (Well, at least I'd be a national treasure in China! Hahs! =P )

I happen to adore this picture alot, although my teeth looks weird and there is the obvious zits! Because i look so smiley and happy here, which really does reflect how life is at the moment, although it could be better, but hey, I can't complain! In fact, it's now my mobile phone's wallpaper! Yesh! I am that narcissistic! =P At least my hair looks better now that it's growing out ever so slowly! =P

A close-up shot of my swollen eye! The swelling's gone down a lil', but it still looks swollen...Might be yet another eye cyst caused by the contact lens infection! Hurhur! It's actually kinda scary! (If Ive to go for another eye operation! It doesn't hurt but it's the waiting that agonisingly hurts! *LauGhs*) Might go visit a doc tomorrow or day after... O_o
