I know its a belated entry, (what's new from pZ? *Laughs*) but the week last and the current week so far has been a mad blast!


Im still having problems with my wireless connection to the Internet (Bloody Starhub!) and its getting to be a lil' tad more than irritating when I'm online via MSN and my friends keep saying Im popping in and out of MSN far too often! *Laughs* What's more, all the websites that I surf either takes donkey ages to load, or it never loads! =(


I had a MSN chat on Thursday with a good guy friend of mine, who was having trouble at work and as well as with his previous relationship... He was real sad after reading how happy she was (with the new beau) in her blog of sorts and he was sad that he didnt treat her well when they were together. To him (I dont know if he reads my blog, I doubt he does, but anyways...), like how Ive always been telling him...


Sometimes, some people walk into our lives, stay for a little while and sometimes, they're extremely difficult to let go when they leave. But Ive since learnt, the hard way, that although letting go is really tough, but its precisely the tough that gets people going -- The first step is always the toughest, but there's always friends and family who would always be there for you when u need a listening ear or someone just to talk to. Letting go also means giving yourself another chance to learn to appreciate and love another person again. And I truly believe in holding onto the good memories and letting go of the bad ones, for they'd only impede the recovery process, for holding onto hate/grudges would never allow a person to truly move on with life.


Heartbreaks are inevitable in life, it merely makes a person become a stronger and hopefully, a much better person...And be happy when she's all well and happy...


And from something I read somewhere online -- The irony of it all is that we tend to look at the closed door when it's already locked shut and all bolted up. Most of us tend to wonder about the "should haves, would haves and could haves", not realising that every time, with each closed door, it merely just means that another door is opening up somewhere...So we should learn how to allow the closed door to remain shut as it is, and move on, for life has much more doors to offer...

And there's a reason why he's my "bf", cos he has saved my huge ass which was in distress not once, but twice at "Our Playground" recently...In fact, a few of the bouncers and bartenders had asked if he was indeed my bf, but nah...He's my "bf" who has a really acidic tongue that is on par with mine! *Laughs*


Joshua "rescued" me from distress over the weekend on Friday when I was out and abouts over at "Our Playground" for yet another night of Double D-ing, when we were all rushing down before 10pm, for we had free entry! When we reached there, it was pretty empty and something happened to darLing JuLes (Im not telling! :X) , which made all of us sad girLies! :(


I saw an acquaintance from "Our Playground" and he bought me a jug of Vodka Lime which tasted horrid cos it was tad too sour, which would have meant that it was real sour for the rest of my girlies! (For those to dont know, I have a fetish for sour drinks and plums! Which perhaps explains my acidic tongue! *Laughs*) and we chatted a little before I went around talking to the staff and all...I started asking for cheerries from Dominic and Don, cos I was real bored and I wanted to have some cherries to feel cheery! :P And I was pissed off with the acquaintance of mine after Double D-ing at "Our Playground" cos he had been bloody rude and mean to darLing jodY, which explained why she looked so moody and pissed the entire night! And she didnt even tell me on the night itself, else, I would have given that guy a piece of my mind! *HmpF*



I bumped into Mr Loanshark/bookie's friend who grabbed my hand and spoke to me...I didnt recognise him initially because he looked so different from a week ago! He made me and my girlies finish up his jug of Screwdriver, which was an easy feat, considering the fact that there were so many of us, and we are pretty good drinkers! *Laughs* I was a lil' disgusted cos he kept holding onto my hand and refused to let go when I tried asking him to...He tried flirting by saying that my hair smelled really nice and all, when he totally forgot my girlies and my names! I really do hope I wont see him this week, cos he promised us drinks but ran away when we demanded him to treat as as promised! *Laughs*


DarLing JuLes and two of my other gfs went off cos they were bored and went off to some karaoke pub along Boat Quay... I continued my Double D-ing session and Joshua came with a friend and his gf after a wedding dinner...And I bought Joshua drinks as promised and he was a lil' drunk after that! *Laughs*


I had wanted to go off to our second playground when "Our Playground" closed but my friends were all too tired and all...So I went home, feeling a lil' sad that I couldn't dance more! *Laughs*


Joshua saved my huge ass (*Laughs*) when some weirdo guy who tried asking for both darLing JodY and my numbers and all from a fortnight ago had asked us again on whether he could get our numbers when the lights were turned on...The weirdo said something along the lines that he, unlike the other guys in the clubs, he is not out looking for an ONS or a fling...


Like hello?! Every guy who isn't that much of an expert uses that line all the time! Do all guys have a similar lil' black book on "Tips to snagging a girl at the clubs/pubs/bars" that they read religiously? If its so, its time for an update on that lil' black book of theirs! *Laughs*


The funny thing was that Mccoy, my 2nd fave bartender had actually remembered him and he said the exact things that this weirdo guy had said a fortnight ago! *Laughs* It must be that this weirdo has been trying to get girls' numbers too frequently using the same lines or something! :P


I got so irritated and pissed off, although I still had my "Bimbo/Barbie doll smile" plastered on my face that I just pointed at Joshua at the baggage counter (Weirdo guy followed me and DarLing JodY from the dancefloor to the bar counter where I took some aqua, and right over to baggage...Irritant!) and told Mr Weirdo guy that..."Well, if u want my number, I think its better if you get it from my boyfriend over there and see if he minds me giving away my number..."


And what was irritating was that Mr Weirdo actually walked over to Joshua and started a pretty long conversation on how he didnt know that I was attached and that Joshua is very fortunate to have me as a gf...Man! Doesnt he ever give up? Dotz... ...


And that was how Joshua is stuck with the "bf" tag! *Laughs* And I really am thankful that he was pretty cool about it both times that he saved my literally huge ass! First time was with Mr Sleazy DJ Joe! Joshua's such a real sweetheart! Thanks Zhu gege/"bf"! *Laughs*



I caught two movies over the weekend over a "Movie Marathon" of sorts with a friend...We couldn't decide which movie to watch after the show that we wanted to watch had no more showtimes for the day/later in the night...So, we decided to pick a movie each to watch... *Laughs* We caught Apocalypto, which was directed by Mel Gibson, which was surprisingly a real nice movie! The way Mel Gibson used colours, imagery, language and music to add onto the pretty basic and predictable storyline was really good! It sort of reminded me of my JC days of Pratical Criticism lectures and tutorials during Literature, where I'd get a kick outta dissecting plots, scenes and the characters! Im not going to spoil the movie but instead recommend anyone to watch it if they can!


After the movie, my friend and I bought tickets for the second movie, which turned out not to be any of the movies I had wanted to catch, cos the remaining shows were at really early timings! So we settled on the next movie that was available... We went for drinks over at Coffee Club, which is still my fave place to hang out and chill over drinks and desserts amongst the many coffee joints there are in Singapore! I was pretty sad when they said that their "Triple Chocolate" dessert was sold out for the day! :( So I didnt have any dessert in the end!


After dessert, we went back to the theatres for our second movie for the day, which was Adrift...I haven't read any reviews and have not heard about the movie, except for the fact that my friend saying that it sorta is similar to those reality TV shows like "Survivor" and "Lost", so I went it pretty excited, only to be disappointed by a pretty predictable and boring plot...


It was raining and pretty windy by the time the movie ended, and since pZ's brolly broke recently and there wasn't any new brollies that have caught my eye ever since, pZ didnt have a brolly, and neither did my friend have any brolly! *Laughs* So we ended chatting while waiting for the rain to stop! We then walked to MacDonald's for a drink and we continued chatting until it was bright and early in the morning! *Laughs* I bet everyone's amazed and shocked at how I can literally not zzz for long stretches when I want to! *Laughs* And a friend of mine was still SMS-ing me at around 3 plus am until about four plus am, and then realising that we both caught Apocalypto on the same day!


I got up after like 5 hours of snooze, and painted my nails in my fave shade of red! :) I was thinking if I should go for another manicure and pedicure appointment this coming week or should I book a session when its closer to the CNY period...I then met up my friends from primary school for a gathering/reunion, where I had a whale of a time catching up, gossipping about the classmates who couldnt make it for the outing, and of course, taking pictures! Some of which can be found on my Friendster page! For those classmates who want the pictures, drop me an email...I'd send it over asap...! :)


After some food and drinks at Settlers Cafe along North Canal Road, a few of us suggested going further down the road to Boat Quay for some drinks and chat and karaoke at a classmate's former workplace...We went over and after almost 2 months, I finally got to sing my fave song! It wasn't really well-sung, but who cares!? pZ finally got to sing! :D We had heaps of beer and heaps of fun with the "Photo Hunt" game, where we chose to spot missing pieces off the original picture of Hot babes and hunks! It was really hilarious when each of the puzzle had at least a difference off their private parts! *Laughs*


I then went off with my bestie in primary school, Shela, over to a friend's friend's kpub, where Shela's friend bought us yet another jug of beer! I had lost count over the amount of beer I drank that night, for Alice treated us to a tower and later a jug of beer, and the waitress kept topping up my glass...(*Laughs*) I also realised that a guy (Vincent) whom we were with is Shela's lil' god-brother and he went out once with me and Shela on our weekly trips to the library once eons ago! Man, time flies! Im getting OLD! :(


Vincent and I took a cab and sent Alvin home cos he was tired and a lil' tipsy, maybe cos he cant really hold his liquor well, and the fact that he had to dirnk more after losing on playing "5-10" with Shela! *Laughs* I had more beer cos I helped Shela drink when she lost! :P I then found out that Vincent stays really close by to me, and we went for supper and a chat...


I didnt zzz cos I had an entire day of classes to attend, so I figured I didnt have much time to snooze, so I went to school with only 5 hours of sleep in 48 hours (*Laughs*) and boy, it was real tough to stay awake and I did snooze for 30 mins in the morning lecture and then in my fave lecturer's class! I was having a Blue-y Monday from the lack of zzz! *Laughs*


Angela had SMS-ed me during lunch break, asking me to meet her up for dinner and a chat...I then realised that after her 21st birthday eons ago, I havent met her up at all! So I agreed to meet her up, despite the lack of sleep! We met up with annother of my "Double D" darling PeiLin, as well and we chatted over dinner and I was glad to hear that Angela's going to get married to lucky Paul come April! Another wedding to attend! I remember eons ago in JC, when Angela and I were really close buddies and we spoke about how we wanted to find the man of our dreams, get married young and then live happily ever after, just like those fairy tale stories!


I am really glad that its coming true for her and as for me, perhaps perhaps perhaps (Or maybe never never never! *Laughs*), my time will come...But it definitely won't be that soon, I guess! =)


After dinner, we moved onto a pub and had huge glasses of Erdinger (My FAVE beer! =D ) and we continued chatting... After the Erdinger, we moved onto a nearby pub for their martinis and boy, those were real wicked and yummy drinks! :P


PeiLin and I had a whale of a time joking about how Angela wouldn't have the chance to club and hang out as often after getting married in April and that she'd be reduced to becoming a "DVD and household chores" wifey pretty soon! :P I once had wanted a life of that sort, but I guess the rightfully imperfect man for pZ hasn't arrived yet! So in a way, after being single for quite a few months, ive come to realise the pros and cons of being single and the pros and cons of being in a relationship with a significant somebody... But it was a fun time catching up, cos it wouldn't be long before we get all teary at Angela's wedding come April! And girl, my apologies for not being able to meet up with you in eons! You know I love you! *Hearts*


And I just realised that I have been drinking since Friday! OMGosh!

Thoughts at 4.20AM - Grossly Misunderstood...

This is a blog entry that I had written and saved in my computer when my wireless connection was having problems connecting onto the world-wide-web in the wee hours; after coming home from a round of Double D-ing with DarLing JodY...


Double D-ing was alright today, too many Caucassians, as usual. And for the 3rd week in a row, I was mistaken to be an Eurasian/Un-local girl...



{An acquaintance/friend whom I was talking on the phone for a while on the phone thought I was a Peranakan, (ie, a Straits-born Chinese who doesn't really speak Mandarin or know the language as their forefathers were usually Malays and had Chinese for wives or vice versa.) I was like...Hmmm...



Do I really look un-local? Maybe? Maybe its the genes...Or maybe, like what my Mummy always said when I was younger - "You were picked up from the dumpster..." (*Laughs*) Believe me but its not the first time when I was mistaken to be un-local/Eurasian and I bet it wouldn't be the last time...Oh well...


Some of my friends have commented that I dont look really local in some way, and maybe its gotta do with the way I speak. Some have commented that I dont sound local when I speak, I tend to speak with an accent...A mixture of Aussie, Brit, I guess... I usually start speaking with an accent to strangers or acquaintances, or when I get real nervous...And I cannot help it! =(



Its just me disliking Singlish, no offence to anyone though! I love how proper English sounds, so I try to pronounce my words with great care. But to my close dearie friends, I can sound very very local when I wanna.



And many people tend to assume that I dont really know how to speak Mandarin, partly because of the "Oh, you dont look local...Where are you from?" face... But hey, I scored As for Mandarin in my GCSEs examinations ok! *Laughs* Plus, I do revise my Mandarin by reading the Mandarin papers, by talking to Mummy and Daddy in Mandarin, and whenever I go "boxing" at those Karaoke joints! Yet, the greatest irony is that even the examiners for my Mandarin oral examinations during my O and A levels days had asked if I was local, just because they agreed that I spoke with a slight Taiwanese accent! Man!}




And as usual, some guys tried getting my number, tried dancing with me, but pZ waved them off with the usual wave of the finger and of cos, a smile...And any questions were answered with "Look, I'd be from any country and of any age you want me to be..." I wasn't in the mood to really have alot of fun, I just wanted to dance...And have heaps of shots...To top it off, some Greg weirdo from Aussie or whatsoever whom danced with darLing JodY tried dancing with me by placing his head on my chest for like a second before I walked off...Man! I was already in a bad mood, and nope, it wasn't that time of the month yet!


I had been a lil' vexed for almost the entire day. I can't exactly pin-point an exact reason for it, but maybe its just that I sometimes feel grossly misunderstood, by alot of people. I mean, close friends and family memebers usually know my what I am trying to get at most of the time, and amazingly, the mood that I am in either by just the tone of voice i use or by the words I type on MSN -- you guys know who you are! :)


I feel grossly misunderstood because for one, I was actually interested in this boy that I might have fancied, he being a sweetheart in some ways...But then again, pZ sorta screwed things up, or is it like, just another case of misunderstandings or a case of "pZ, you're TTM again!" (TTM = thinking too much.)


Those people whom know me really well would know, pZ can be pretty much a mother hen-ny figure when she wants to... I try to take care of my darlings when they're out Double D-ing with me, I make sure they dont get drunk and get home safely. Whenever someone is sick or vexed, I try to call or send a SMS to cheer them up with my nonsensical nonsense (pun intended!) And when someone needs advice, I try my best to give my 2 cents to them, irregardless of whether they choose to heed my advice. I mean, I had been there before, where I needed a listening ear or just advice, so I try my best for all of my friends, old or new...


So i have been calling this really sweetheart of a guy in the morning to wake him up, so that he wouldn't be late for work, he being sick and all... (Believe me when I tell u he is the 2nd guy that I have given morning calls to; the 1st guy being obviously the Someone, aka, ex-boyfriend.)


So I had called him before my night of Double D-ing to ask if he needed a call tomorrow in time for work when he hung up on me. I thought he was still busy at work, so I called again a while later and totally no response. So I was like yeah, ok...whatever, maybe he';s still busy...cos I wasn't in that great of a mood to begin with. Imagine it when I got a SMS from him saying I'm being possessive, and that he needed his own space whatsoever blah blah blah... I was like, huh? So pZ was a wee lil' miffed, cos I honestly didnt expect this coming, what's more, from a guy I barely know and am sussing out...


Thank Gawd for gfs and hugs! And thank Gawd for technology (once again!) and plenty of shots! So I guess I am alright now... Maybe its all a total misunderstanding, maybe we'd talk as friends like before after a while, but Im not holding onto that hope. Afterall, I dont really understand species of the other gender really well (Im still learning!), and I'd rather let this chapter close, and if another chapter opens, so be it - Que sara Sara...



{After the previous relationship, pZ has come to realise that whenever pZ has a thingy/crush/fancies someone and if it isnt mutual or that it was mutual and then somewhere along the line, shit happens, pZ seems somewhat able to move on pretty quickly and if the opposite party starts looking me up, pZ's usually pretty cool with stuff...Maybe that's part of growing up... =) }



And while on my way home after my Double D-ing session, the cab driver and I had a really interesting conversation - He apparently heard what darLing JodY and I were saying about the guy and all...After daRLing JodY got off the cab, he started talking about how guys and girls are real complicated these days, as in the way we behave and communicate to the opposite gender, which I totally agreed. He asked me why I dont have a bf when he asked if I did. He actually paid a compliment about my looks, which I was real flattered and I told him that I wasn't that much of a looker, Im just pretty much human...I had actually told him bits about my previous relationship and he did say some encouraging stuff to me...


Talking to him was theraputic in some weird way, and yet at the same time, the conversation had made me realise the fact that I am, in actual fact, a lil' wary and cynical about relationships with the opposite gender. Yet at the same time, bits and parts of me am still optimistic, that despite all the players, swingers, perverts, weirdos and MF-ers around, I am sure that someone's out there for me...

The weekend! (A belated update!)

The weekend was finally here!

My apologies for not updating my blog soon, as promised, cos my Internet connection has been screwing up on me since early Friday morning, and it just went literally crazy all through the weekend! :(


Im finally back online, and I hope there wouldn't be more craziness to the internet conenction, else I've to tear my hair out in bits and drabs! (*Laughs*)



It was an awesome Friday, well, at least for the later bit of the night, cos after school, I went home and napped before heading off to "Our Playground" to meet up with my girlfriends for more dancing and drinking! (Double Ds!) I was pretty early, considering the fact that we've been reaching "Our Playground" much later like Cinderellas recently...Even the bouncers were like asking why I was so early that day...It was pretty funny...


I bumped into DarLing Jody in the loo and she looked pissed, well, she just needed some drinks (*Laughs*) and she said she saw our mutual friends, Jeryl and Andy hanging opposite "Our Playground", so me being me, I called Jeryl and after some sarcastic teasing, Andy and Jeryl were inside "Our Playground", which was funny, cos we havent seen them since NYE...Jeryl then asked how many times have we been to "Our Playground" since NYE, and I had to check my mobile phone for the calendar to be able to tell him the number of times, which was really an indication of how much pZ and Co have been Double D-ing at "Our Playground" since the beginning of 2007!


We met up with DarLing MingYun and her friend, Jenny and we started our Double D-ing! MingYun was like asking me to bottoms up on her lychee martini with DarLing Jody for being so late so I did! *Laughs* Mccoy and Kelvin smiled and said Hi and we decided to snap a couple of pictures and a couple of guys whom we asked to help us snap pictures bought us a jug of our fave drink and we were like thrilled cos Kelvin, my fave bartender gave us heaps of lychees and Kelvin gave us more lychees in a glass, which made me a happy girl! (Its another girl secret that im not telling! :X ) I bought my girls maitais and Im happy that Kelvin made it the way I liked it, strong, yet yummy! And I had to finish Jenny's half a glass cos she didnt like the taste of maitai very much! :P


After drinking, we decide to head off to dance when the loanshark/bookie (illegal moneylender = loanshark, info for my overseas friends!) that was had the hots or whatsoever with me called and said he was downstairs so Jody and I went off to talk to him downstairs...We then went back upstairs and danced while Jenny and MingYun went off looking for Jenny's cousin...


It was pretty funny cos the loanshark/bookie went over to where DarLing Jody and I were and asked us to go meet his friends. I saw Alan again (He was with the loanshark/bookie last weekend when we met up), and I said Hi and I totally dont remember his other friend's name! (My bad! *Laughs*) and as expected, it was weak drinks that were there...His friend kept asking me to drink and to be honest, the vodka was a lil' thicker than usual (Turns out that one of the bartenders is loanshark/bookie's really good friend, which explains their thicker drinks and I was bored, cos I had a craving for lychee martinis so bad and I didnt expect vodka ribena...but oh well...


I went back to the dancefloor and as usual, there were heaps of flies everywhere! Oh well...And I was a happy girl when Jeryl bought me a glass of lychee martini and brought it to the dancefloor just for me! :) I like! I danced with DarLing Jody and Jeryl and Andy cos they are pretty much like us, Double D-ers! (*Laughs*) And I bumped into another Playground regular, Nicholas, AKA jacket boy, for he's forever dancing with a jacket, when its already so stuffy and warm!


Soon, it was lights on...But the girls and I decided to head off to our second Playground and I had 2 of our covers waived cos William, the security head decided to... Man! He should have just waived off all covers, but oh well...


And after some dancing, we saw the entire bunch of bartenders of "Our Playground" at our second Playground! They were equally surprised to see us, cos they were like "Haven't u girls danced enough?" I wasn't surprised, although a tad disappointed not to see my fave bartender there though! And Mccoy was flirting with MingYun pretty much...Pretty typical, if u ask me... *Laughs* And I found out that Dominic, another of the bartenders, had bought MingYun a lychee martini! Oh man, he's so gonna get it when I see him real soon! (*Laughs*) But Dominic kept asking me to drink up Burbon Coke, which I dont really fancy much...


I bumped into Terence and Vince on the dancefloor! They were 2 guys whom darLing JuLes and I had met in 2006 while at our second Playground. Vince was actually dancing with some girl and he came over, asked me how I was doing and all, and we started dancing...And he kept humming and singing all the songs that was playing, which made me wanted to laugh out loud for some weird, unknown reason...


We then went for Macdonald's breakfast and something really hilarious happened which I'm not intending to tell! :X


And I was kept pretty busy on the phone via SMS with Mr K, who was apparently at another club and I was SMS-chatting with him throughout the night... It was pretty sweet of him to ask me if I was alright and asking me not to drink that much and all, and vice versa...



Imagine my horror when I woke up to 10 sms-es and 5 missed calls in the afternoon! *Laughs*


It was pretty random cos I had sms-es from 5 different guy friends who had wanted to meet me up, either for "Boxing", dinner, movies, shopping and supper! (*Laughs*) It doesn't happen all the time,I tell you! But my gfs were like telling me that i should be used to all the "advanced bookings and appointments" pretty soon... (*Laughs*)


I was so pissed off with my Internet connection for it was really screwed up for the entire day! I had phone calls with heaps of my friends while trying to fix the problem...I then met up with a friend for supper and I bumped into Shawnie boy! He looks even better now that he's bulking up! :)


Sunday was pretty much a chill day...I was with my Mummy and then I did head off to the beach for a while for some "pZ alone" moments...


It was a pretty tiring day cos I was having the Monday blues the next day...A friend had cancelled an appointment with pZ cos there were meetings and all to attend...So I met up with my DarLing Jody for a sushi feast! I was so bloated from all the salmon and green tea! *Laughs*


And I fell in LOVE with some shoes I saw at Novo! And my fellow shoe-whore darLing, Joanna, had to sms and tell me that she had bought a pair of lovely wedges for only $14!!

Its been more than a week...So its one freaking longgg entry... *Laughs*

Its been more than a week since my last entry. My bad! =P


It seems as though the week had passed by me real S-L-O-W-L-Y...Its been one hell of a week for me!


The week began with me coughing horribly while i was on my way to school...I was literally coughing my lungs out all the way from the Eastern to the Western part of Singapore! And I was feeling so miserable that I coughed out my breakfast, AKA, puked, before I went for my classes. And I was so distracted as I was too occupied with coughing! I wanted to leave class and visit a doctor's but my guyfriend whose staying in the West told me that there are queues at the clinics all the time...So, me being the stubborn girl that I am, hung on in class until lunchtime...And I had felt better to continue attending my afternoon lecture as it was my fave module for this semester and I adored the lecturer! The irony of it all was that I fell asleep half an hour into his lecture and he forgave me cos he could sense that I was really sick! What a sweetie! =)


Daddy flew off to China at like 4am, and I had to wake up at 10-ish to visit my doctor, and my mummy insisted on accompanying me there, cos I had a feeling that she was worried that I might faint flat on my way there or something. It was sort of weird having to visit the doctor's again after almost half a year. (Date was printed on his cards and stuff.) It was even weirder cos I was so used to seeing a particular Someone flipping newspapers or magazines or making phone calls while waiting for me during my consultation with Doctor Ong. I was glad my Mummy was there and in some way, I had a feeling that she knew what I was thinking. Mummys really know best! *Heart*


Doctor Ong said that I might be having a case of a tonsil or a sinus infection, which sounded really serious. So he decided to give me a really strong antibiotics to, in his words, "wipe out the virus completely". And everything he prescribed was drowsy medication! And the medical bill came up to $68! (It could have been used for pZ's shoe funds!) Bloody antibiotics...!


For a moment there i had wished that my immune system wasn't so weak since I was a young tod. My weak immune system meant longer recovery periods when I was ill. And it would have meant stronger antbiotics most of the time and countless of trips to the clinic! Doctor Ong has seen me since I was a cute lil' girl, he was the one that sent me to the hospital when I had my first asthma attack. He was the one who signed all my Medical Certificates when I was in secondary school. He was the one that sent me to SNEC (Singapore National Eye Clinic) to his eye specialist friend when my eye was swollen from a contact lens infection. He was the one who seemed geninuely worried when I constantly suffered from bad bouts of gastric flu for the entire 2006. He made a personal call to check up on me! Which doctor would do that?


The drowsy medication was really potent! I literally slept throughout Tuesday and I thought I would have died or slept through my medicure and pedicure appointment! (Vain pZ had to get her nails done just for Kenny and Ferdinand's wedding over the weekend!) I loved the service rendered cos Phoebe, the lady which I requested to have for my medicure and pedicure was really chatty and she was really thorough to the point where she even picked out the dead skin off an old blister from my toe! I was totally impressed as she took 90 minues for just my pedicure! I love my nails now! I had it painted a shade of red! I like! *Hearts*


I met up with Jody for dinner after my very long manicure and pedicure appointment (Close to 3 hours!) and I finally visited MAC and bought my foundation and a new blusher! The service was wonderful and under all the bright lights of the MAC store, I felt that my pores were huge! I felt real fugly! And after a week odd of using MAC's blusher and foundation, it really is, like what my gfs have been saying, really good...It stayed on throughout the night, even when I was out for a long night of dancing at "Our Playground" until the wee hours of the morning! I didnt even re-touch my make up at all! Which is really amazing, cos I tend to sweat quite abit while dancing and believe me, its no joke when u hit the dancefloors at "Our Playground" cos its pretty stuffy and warm all the time! *Laughs*


Unleashing the shopaholic in me, I walked into Zara and I bought a dress and a top that were on sale! I kinda regretted getting the dress cos similar designs could be found at the shops in Far East Plaza, and even around the clothing stores near my place! :(


Mingyun called me while I was walking around with Jody and she had just got into an argument with her bf, so she needed to drink and chill, so we decided to head off to "Our Playground" at the last minute...And MingYun bought a $150 dress for clubbing! Man! I guess that she was really in a bad mood! I didnt touch any drop of alcohol cos I was on medication and the girls forbade me from having any! The only thing I had was the lychees from their martinis! And Mccoy, one of the bartenders there, had noticed that I wasn't drinking...And when he realised that I was sick, he poured me a glass a water without any ice, no questions asked, which I felt was really sweet of him! And I found out that he was sick as well and had cut his hand! Poor Mccoy! Hope he gets well soon! And Kelvin, my fave bartender did something which was absolutely random and out of the blue (Not telling! =X ) which caught me by surprise and smiley at the same time! *SmiLes*


I had a test on Friday, which I hoped I would ace it, cos it was pretty easy! :) And I rushed off to get my examination fees paid and had my eyebrows trimmed by a guy called Eddy...Eddy was real chatty and friendly, and he did a pretty good job with my weird-looking brows! And Jody and I went to "Our Playground" really late at night for she was tired out from Wednesday's dancing session and her projects at work! I felt real touched that she accompanied me there! And I was real glad that she made the effort! *Hearts*


I went for a second appointment with Dr Ong in the morning and he cleared me of any suspected tonsil or sinus infection! (Had he not cleared me from it, I would have to get to a hospital and see a specialist! I am that weak! :O ) I was finally off the really strong antibiotics but the drowsy medication had to continue, which meant more drowsy days ahead! Damn! :(

I went for Kenny and Ferdinand's wedding in the evening and I was late! *Laughs* Seeing 2 secondary school friends getting married was a little surreal, cos I had never imagined myself at the age of 23, attending a secondary school friend's wedding! And Im happy that they've found the love of their lives and are making a commitment out of it! And the bride, Kenny, was so pretty that night!


I met up with Jody for a movie and we caught the Mandarin flick, "The Last Dance". It was a pretty awesome movie, except for the director's warped way of wanting to present it in a sorta "Amelie" (One of my fave French movies!) and more arty farty way, which was a lil over the top for a movie of such a genre. But the actors in it were great, although I had guessed the ending mid way through the movie! I cant help it! I was once a Literature student! *Laughs*


I spent the earlier part of the Sunday with my dearest Mummy and I bought 2 mini skirts! I would have bought a top that I really liked had it not been tight at the bust!! (*Pouts*) I decided to meet my DarLing JuLes for dinner and a movie as some weirdo guy (Ex-Loanshark, current bookie) wanted to date me out. And while waiting for JuLes, I found a Forever21-looking top at a fraction of Forever 21' prices that would match the skirts that bought earlier! Man! I have the greatest urge to wear them now than to wait until the upcoming Chinese New Year cos the entire outfit looked very CNY-ish! Black, red, flowery and low cut! Opps! =X


I watched "The Fur" after a very late dinner and desserts and I didnt realise that the movie was rated R21! Imagine my surprise when 2 minutes into the flim, I see a penis and a pair of saggy boobs! *Laughs* Nicole Kidman was really good in the movie, acting as a repressed housewife of a commercial photographer and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie!


I reached home real early in the day and I had bumped into an ex-friend(crush/500m away neighbour) of mine on my way home...I think he saw me, but I couldnt be sure...But I truly hope that he is now blissfully in love with his current gf...! =)


And I worried the hell out of my friends and Mummy when they couldn't contact me (My cellphone's batt was totally flat out so I couldn't call anyone!) Thank Gawd that my morning lecture wasn't compulsory or I would have literally died! I went for my fave lecturer's class and I dozed off for 5 minutes or so during a break and imagine my embarassment when he spoke to me (with his microphone switched on! He forgot to switch it off!), asking if my cough's better! He's such a sweetheart! :)


And I met up with one of my fave guyfriend for dinner while the other two guyfriend were rushing down from work. And it was real hilarious cos I find it so comfy with them - they treat me like a brother, cos I can be so guy-ish and crude like a guy when I want to around them. And they are always there for me when I need them to be! And they are like elder and younger brothers that I never had! And Des was totally un-Des cos he was so chatty and hilarious! He kept cracking silly jokes that made me cry from laughing! And it was unusual for Des was usually the quietest and the supposed cool one in our gang! He had almost made me puke out my tau huey while we were having tau huey and dough fritters at Selegie Road! *Laughs*


Mummy surprised me with a beautiful chest-of-drawers for my room and a new shoe cabinet on Tuesday afternoon! She had finally bought me a chest-of-drawers, which I had begged for since 2006; cos when we were staying at our old place, I had a wall of wardrobe space and my room now has only like less than half of the wardrobe space that I once had. So imagine my clothes everywhere in my room! My brother said it looks like some scene of a bazaar/pasar malam or of a crime scene of some murder gone wrong. *Laughs* Now if only I would finally get down to stacking clothes in the order that I want to soon! :P I Love my Mummy! *Hearts*


I was sleepy during my lecture on Wednesday morning but I didnt doze off cos for me, its always simply a case of mind over matter sorta thing, unless its cos I had drowsy medication or it was that time of the month...And I slept my way home on the bus and I was already resigned to the fact that I wouldn't be going for my rounds of lychee martinis and maitais when DarLing JuLes said she would be going down to "Our Playground" with her friends!


And I had an invite for drinks (I shall not disclose his identity cos apparently, he reads my blog!) from Mr K, whom had apparently wanted to get me drunk! So I powdered my nose and all and was on my way down real late! And I was thinking that Mr K must have been frightened at how eager I was about getting a round of drinks that he didnt wanna go to "Our Playground" anymore...So pZ being a meanie, pZ called and asked him if he was going, which he said he will...So DarLing JuLes and I had our free rounds of drinks (it being a Ladies' Night!) and danced while waiting for Mr K's arrival...


And Mr K did come, along with a friend, Mr S, and they were not sleazy as we had expected, so that was a plus...And I think they were pretty shocked at how much we could dance cos we'd usually only go for loo and drinking breaks and dance until the lights turn on! And it turned out to be fun cos Herman, one of the DJs, said Jody and my name into the microphone and re-mixed snippets of a classic Disney song into a RnB song as promised! DarLing JuLes was pissed cos Herman didnt notice that it was JuLes who was there and not Jody! *Laughs*


Mr K bought us a round of shooters and I seriously thought I did scare him and Mr S a little cos I downed the shooters at a pretty fast rate! I was still eager for my Lychee Martini but DarLing JuLes wasn't keen! I shall have them come Friday! *Laughs* And they were a lil' shocked (i guess!) cos we cornered another of the bartenders, Dominque, when we were on our way out and pecked him on the cheek cos he had demanded for pecks earlier on in the night and then turned coy on us! *Laughs*


It was nice of Mr K to send me home, cos it turns out that we were staying really near each other and that DarLing JuLes had a ride home! And its really coincidental that we are using the same cellphone and he knew I was wearing a scent of Lavin's, which few girls use...and its pretty unheard of so Im impressed with his knowledge of women fragrances, but then again, it might be because he has many female friends! *Laughs*


The only spoiler of the night was when the latch of my watch was loose and my watch flew off from my hand onto the main platform! The glass face broke! :( Im just glad that someone didnt step on it!


I woke up at 8am, and realised that I had not drawn the curtains so my neighbours might have caught the snoring sight of me! (Thank Gawd I was wearing something! *Laughs*) And what was worse was that I had not removed my contact lenses! :O My Mummy thought I had just returned home! :(


After replying some SMS-es and waking someone up as requested, I went back to zzz-land, only to awake to 10 SMS-es and 3 missed calls...I kid you not! My friends miss me too much! *Laughs* And after some replies, a few of my friends were asking if Im off to MoS for a free party later tonight! Man! And a friend of mine had managed to secure VIP entry for me and a guest...I wasnt really keen cos I didnt feel like clubbing for 3 straight days in a row...(Ive done that before, and imagine the Bouncers' shocked looks when they saw my arm under the UV lights! :P )


Jody called and so we made plans to have dinner together in town, but I had to get my watch fixed first and I was so worried that it couldn't be fixed, cos the watch was a gift from Mummy and she'd be angry had she found out that it had broke, at a club no less! *Laughs* So imagine the relief when after some inspection they said it could be fixed, but it'd take a fornight! Man! I'd be naked and without a nice "dress watch" for the next fortnight! :(


While waiting for Jody to arrive from work, I went shopping and there's sales everywhere! That's something I adore about Singapore! *Laughs* I was stuck at Fox and was undecided on 2 mini skirts cos I didnt know which one looked better on me...Jody came and helped me decide to get both mini-skirts cos they were having a 70% discount! A skirt at less than $15!


We were so hungry that we went for our dinner really late and we settled on NYDC...We chatted and it was real hilarious cos the ex-Loanshark/Current Bookie guy whom seems smittened with me called and Jody answered the phone, which scared the daylights out of him! (We have a secret that we're not telling! :X ) We were laughing so hard after he hung up that we gave up on having a mudpie as dessert!


And I decided on not going for the MoS event as I was feeling tired and so was Jody...Plus, there's always tomorrow at "Our Playground" to look forward to! So imagine my Mummy's surprise when I reached home at a timing that was considered early! *Laughs* I watched some tv, and got online and was chatting with a few friends and then spent like 2 hours or so blogging this really long entry!
